I miss sex so much but my doctor said don't have sex at 9 months is that true

I would ask. He obviously has a reason as to why he doesn't want you too. Maybe he thinks you would go into early labor. Not everyone is the same, remember that.💖💖

Sex won't necessarily cause labor unless the baby is ready anyway. Every baby will be different. They can tell you all the tricks in the book, sex, spicy food, walking, etc etc. If baby isn't ready, nothing will work. There's no proof or guarantees that anything will jump start your labor. I had a quickie at 35 and a half weeks with my oldest, and she came at 36 weeks. We were having lots of sex, I was eating lots of spicy food, and I bounced on an exercise ball every day for almost 2 weeks with my youngest and STILL had to be induced when I passed 40 weeks. Lol.

Sex throughout pregnancy should be safe, unless directed otherwise by your doctor. Did you ask your doctor why they would say that?
