No hot water or gas in my entire building for the next 3 weeks, smh. I really need to move 😔

How can they do that? I don't see that being legal

@lovinmommy51 idk, the super claimed the hot water would be back today but now it's 3 weeks. I reported it to 311.

@caylintay they should but probably can't afford it so they won't. I'm beyond upset cause I need to take my son a bath and now have to figure out another way to do. We have a bunch of old people and babies in this building. Smh.

I would definitely be contacting some higher ups especially since you have a newborn. They cannot do that legally and can be in alot of trouble. I'd be livid!

Yea that's most definitely illegal and they HAVE to pay for a hotel for you guys. You can go to a hotel and just deduct it from the rent if they refuse to pay. Keep records of every single thing!

@dazzlingmommy they won't do it, all he did was bring everyone a portable electric stove and said heat up water there and wait a day knowing none of it will be on for 3 weeks.

@mberjuste5 nope, rent is the same. It's sad. We have nowhere else to stay for the next few weeks so we have to deal with it...

@harleigh1223, I would use the rent money for a hotel. Research tenants and landlords rights and responsibilities in your state.
