Your awesome for doing such a good job. I have a 7yr old boy with autism and my 2.5 yr old has speech and social delays. It can be challenging in so many ways but the joys and happiness far out weigh all of them. I think more grandparents should learn more about special needs. I know my mother and grandmother don't really understand it and it gets to me sometimes watching them and listening to them talk. Needless to say they don't see my kids all that often.

I have had my grandson since he has been 4 months old... I would not change him for the world but I wish I could change the world for him...he just finished kindergarten and before school was out for the summer we took over 30 invites to his bday party and only one little girl came... I wish I could educate the world...
