How long does weaning a pacifier last? He doesn't get it while awake, and was getting it at nap and bed time. He won't take it anymore. And I just wanna know how long the temper tantrums last when it's time to nap? He hasn't had a binky all week. And the screaming still goes on every day for about 15 minutes and then he falls asleep.

Give it a couple weeks. They get used to things fast

Thank you. We wanted to wean, but not in the middle of teething. But when we offer it he throws them so we didn't see a point of trying to hand it back each time. So I decided to put them aside.

My kids gave me HELL when it came to getting rid of binkie... weeks of screaming. But you can't give in! Lol it'll be over soon.

I won't give in lol. We have one on the way, and we are doing things in small steps.

I don't know about binkies but when I took my daughter off the bottle and gave her a cup she give me hell for awhile it's hard work but sticking to your guns helps takes awhile but they do eventually wean off
