I burped my son still until he began to do it on his own but only if he was still awake after 15-20 mins on one boob and then I'd burp him then switch boobs to keep it even if he stayed awake that long if not I let him sleep lol

I always burped up until a few months old. Sometimes nothing happened but I'd do it for about a minute or so and then continue feeding if he wasnt done

Your breast has no air, correct! They can still get some air if they unlatch a lot though.

@milky_mama2017, i try i get nervous sometimes but I'll get over it. If he doesn't burp after a minute I usually give up .. my baby farts more than burps

Lol its ok sometimes they dont burp i bottle feed but only breast milk and my son doesnt always burp ... but you could try laying your son down for a few minutes and try again

While it's true they dont take is as much air as with bottles, they still take it are. Plu babies are still gassy. I always burp. I still burp my 7 month old after some feedings
