So I hate to ask but my pediatrician is at a loss for words! My daughter has a rash on both her back and belly! Her pediatrician thought it was eczema at first and prescribed us some cream to put on it, but the rash has kept growing and turned red! So then she thought it was hives, but her blood panel came back and it said she literally has 0 possible allergies! Anyone have a rash that's dry like eczema but raised and red like hives? What was it?? Pics in comments for reference!

Oh poor baby. They are positive it isnt an allergic reaction to clothing, or detergent, or anything. My son ended up with a rash like that and it turned out hes allergic to dove body wash

@candidbabex, what did you do to help it? We've tried 3 different creams and changed detergents and everything!

@allyk.xmommy, I've switched her body wash, and our laundry detergent to all fragrance free crap lmao. She has a scratch test at the end of august but i don't want to put her through that if I can find what's wrong

@martinajjones the dove was baby dove and the detergent was for sensitive skin. It sucked. It took forever to find something that didn't make him break out in a rash

@candidbabex, thanks I'll have to try that!! This started a week after her six month shots so I'm wondering if that's what set things off! @allyk.xmommy, yeah I'm starting to wonder if we will ever find anything to help her!

Aquaphor worked best on my eczema. Didn't cure it but it helped it heal a little bit.

My baby never got that bad, but the only thing that helped his dry red splotchy skin was lathering up baby wash in my hands, rinse with cup and pat dry. Don't use anything other than your hands to bath him. No lotion or oil i tried ever helped.
