When do you guys find out what the gender is? On the app says around 12 weeks??

A babies private area is NOT fully developed until 20 weeks

Found out with my 1st at 18 weeks, and this time I will find out in 2 weeks when I'll be 20 weeks. They can easily get it wrong earlier than 18, I have heard plenty of bad stories of finding out before 18 and the gender being completely wrong.

The soonest I was able to find out my babies genders were 18wks. 12wks can't be determined by ultrasound so you'll have to wait at least 6-7 more weeks.

My doctor said I can test for the abnormalities and gender at ten weeks, but I am not allowed to ONLY test for gender, I'd have to do the chromosome abnormalities, too. I have Kaiser.

@itzallboutmelissa, yeah, they considered me high risk so I had some test done that had the gender test included.

My doctor is doing a blood test at 12 weeks and that will determine gender among other things

Found out with my first at 12 weeks via ultrasound. She was a girl then, & came out all girl :-)

@clbradley1229, I hope I do an ultrasound tomorrow. I have my first OB doctor.
