I am a seasoned learning & development professional with over a decade of learning design, facilitation and speaking experience. I now run my own Leadership & Development Consulting company, and work with entrepreneurs and organizations to help them achieve their professional development goals - both for individuals and teams. After spending many years traveling the country for coaching and speaking engagements, I became extremely passionate and focused in on building women's confidence, helping them grow both personally and professionally while empowering them to achieve any goal they set. The Empower Up Project was created to provide ALL women with a platform where we can help each other grow, succeed and collaborate. My vision was to create a place where women could come together to seek advice, share their inspiring stories, and offer their knowledge to help each other in any aspect of life. A place where no filters, restrictions or rules on how women supported each other existed. A place where women can help each other Empower UP. I am a huge believer in owning our stories to find our confidence and be amazing at anything we want! I also believe it's time to move away from what society says women should do and be, and start focusing on what other amazing women are doing and becoming.

Why can't other mom's just be there for other mom's and work together and help each other not bash other mom's because when other mom's bash other mom's it makes us feel like we aren't doing a good job at least that's how I feel when I get bashed.

Hi Preggies, We've had some requests from moms who are going through difficult emotional times, before, during and after pregnancy. Some of you may be feeling alone, sad and anxious in an already challenging time. Some members would like to create a group where they can support each other and stay positive when it seems nearly impossible. Anyone interested in joining this group would comment here and then follow those women. Then you can look out for each other and send positive words of encouragement or just lend an open ear. One or two of you could also lead the group as well. Also, if anyone has a counseling background or would like to help out, please join, too. However, if you are feeling completely desperate and have nobody to turn to, please call 911 or another local hotline for help. Best, Preggie_USA

Help I'm desperate...UPDATE Deep breath ok here it is. The babies are PERFECT growing exactly like they should and within a 5% difference of each other. Beside myself with relief and sooooo in love and proud of my little bubs.

TTC #2 (or more) and married group-Join Us! I started a TTC group for women who are ttc #2 (or more!), and married. I didn't do it to specifically exclude others, but to allow women in similar situations to find each other. We can all still happily participate in the general forum, but I thought it would be nice to have like minded people to talk to about ttc and motherhood.
