maybe look into mediation? You can come up with a written agreement & then a judge just signs it.

My ex was also good about everything when it was "written" but then his Jeep broke down and he decided not to pay me for two months. Then he met another woman and decided he wanted to be a jerk so we went through court and they took cs straight from his paycheck. You can agree on a lower amount through the court. I did and regret it now because of how he treats me but is possible. And things change including people so if you KNOW you aren't getting back together I'd go through court. I knew my ex for 6+ years before getting married then we were married 11 years and we had an easy divorce since we agreed on everything but then he flipped and changed overnight. You think you know someone... 😕

Does he not want to go because he thinks they'll charge too much or get him for something else?

I think just the process and money of it idk like he told me I could pick the time and days of his time with Violet but idk if there's another issue he ain't saying.. maybe cause he's a pot smoker and scared that will mess something up idk

@hannahbbtt, of you or him doesn't mention pot smoking it shouldn't be an issue. You know him tho, is he able to maintain normalcy with your child while smoking?

It's routine. As long as u guys agree it won't be too much trouble. My ex made promises and didn't stick to it. I'd hate to see u go through that too.

@morganmommy79, he said he's gunna quit and get back into shape.. he can't quit he tried millions of times plus he doesn't smoke when he watches her like if I'm at work which is good. But who really knows?
