I need a photographer or someone to just follow me around and take pictures for me as a hobby. I'm laying here snuggling Raven to sleep when I realized I did not take any pictures of her first 4th of July. I feel like such a shitty parent. I meant to, I really did, I just stuck my phone in diaper bag and forgot about it. I would have loved to catch her face while watching fireworks on film.

You're actually a great parent because your not worried about the small things in life like a phone yea you may have wanted pictures for a memory but hey you enjoyed every moment with baby and that's what counts I have absolutely no adorable pictures of sky for her FIRST birthday and guess what I got over it because I realized how much I was into her and not my phone

I was just saying the same thing! I planned to get at least a family pic of all of us tonight... but I seriously was so intrigued watching her reaction I totally spaced it! Oh well... she had a great time... that's all that matters!

I didn't get any pics & we had a blast. It's the moments you make with them that matter..the kids don't care if you catch photos everytime.
