Have anyone drink castor oil to start labor??

My mom did. She had 4 kids and drank it with 3 of hers. She said she shit for two days straight then went into labor and shit some more. Lmao so be careful!

Castor oil can have negative effects on the baby. A while ago there was a baby that passed away from the mom drinking castor oil. It can cause the baby to poop in the womb and go into distress.

Completely not safe. It can make the baby have a bowel movement inside the womb and they could ingest it...and could possibly kill the baby...not safe.

If they want to risk their baby's life.

Plus you should wait til full term to naturally induce labor which is 39 weeks.

Had a friend who drank castor oil about three months ago to try and induce labor. Her daughter had a bowel movement inside of her. She stayed in the nicu for a month after that and now needs to be kept on oxygen at home for the time being. Very scary time. I'm not against self inducing, just keep looking into safer ways 😊

No. It isn't a good idea. Castor oil is and should only be done with a doctors supervision
