So my son has like dandruff like flakes on his head but there like brown? No matter how much I wash…

It might be some kind of rash, possibly from his soap or if you use any other products in his hair. Even if you have used the same shampoo forever it's still possible to develop an allergy to it. I would take him to the doctor if it doesn't go away with a switch of hair care products.

@babyboy1117 that's what I was thinking, but it's weird cuz it just started, I was also thinking maybe from the heat ? But I have no idea. He has a Dr app next week so I'm planning to ask him then

Completely normal. Babies get it when they're born and it will go away on its own. I used to think it was absolutely disgusting but it's normal. Wouldn't worry about it

My son had this and dr said it was cradles cap. She told me to put baby oil on it and comb it/brush it out. But I didn't and eventually it came off by itself .

@sierramb when does it usually go away?? He's 8 months right now and he's had it for like a couple weeks ??

I was terrible and I'd pick it off after his bath when it was softer . And it all came off like in a month or so. But he still has a few patches . Also his hair came off with it. So do not be alarmed

Its cradle cap its normal for babies to get it. It'll come off by itself so try not to pick it off

I was told not to pick at it either. My son had it even after a year old. Babies vary though
