I've been co parenting for 7 years almost. We have joint custody we do week to week. He dated someone well before I (I waited 4 years). I'm going to be brutally honest at first I did not handle coparenting with his girlfriend well. he's been through a couple of them and majority of them we haven't got along you have to learn how to set aside your feelings and put the child first I think it also depends on how much history you guys have between you we had six years it was hard to just put those feelings aside and stay neutral but honestly it's so worth it. It's a journey to say the least. But now we have the best coparenting relationship we can have conversations we can be out in public at sport functions and not have it be awkward. He talks and gets along with my SO. Hopefully you can skip over the bs and go to joyful co parenting

My kids dad is dating someone new nd I'm engaged I only deal with him I don't Wana meet her..lol
