My pedia actually recommended this when my ds had a terrible cough when he was 2 months old.

Yes Dr zarbess for the win! This stuff was great for us too. Have you tried the eucalyptus rub? Also I'm pretty sure we'd go insane and my son would be in pain if I never gave him Tylenol or motrin.

Not judging, but kids under the age of 5 shouldn't take any over the counter medicine. Just something to read about if you're interested.
