Mommy's I have a question. Tomorrow from 6-1 I am going to babysit an 8 year old girl and a 8 month old boy. The problem that I have is that the little girl has a thing for stealing things. The parents told me yesterday and when they left our house the treated her like she was in prison they searched her. I am scared to watch her and have to worry about her stealing stuff. What do you mommy's think I should do?

I would just make sure she can't get to any rooms that have things that you're worried about her taking. Limit her to only the living room and bathroom or outside. A lot of kids go through this stage and you just have to encourage her to not to do it. But if you're not comfortable watching her then don't. I've gone through the stealing stage and so did my step sister. I know how to deal with it. It's up to you momma

It sounds like it's something the parents are pretty aware of so honestly they'll probably searched her when she leaves anyways I mean I would keep an eye on her and make sure she's not stealing stuff and obviously say something if you catch her but at the end of the day when it's time for her to get picked up they'll probably searched her again and then you'll really find out. It's good that these parents are aware of what's going on though.
