A bottle as in like a big bottle or like those single serve bottles? There's a lot of different research out there pointing in different directions (too much to explain in detail lol), but if it was a smaller bottle I'd say breastfeeding now is fine. If it was a big bottle than maybe pump/dump first then feed just to be safe...

You can drink and breastfeed safely. Even if youre drunk the breasts are good at filtering alcohol 👍

Really? I never knew that. I was always told breastfeeding moms shouldn't drink. Wow, that's nice to hear ☺️

They say okay to drive okay to breastfeed. Pumping and dumping is not necessary unless you're engorged and drunk still.

I didn't drink the entire year I breastfed to avoid this issue, but my specialist did say that it's typically 2 hours per one drink for the alcohol to be out of your system where there's no harm to the baby. Whatever is in your bloodstream is in your breast milk, if it's a whole night then you will be totally fine haha

I followed the 2 hr time frame.. 2 hrs per drink or per 1 Oz of hard liquor... and once it's out of your blood stream it's out of your milk is what my Dr said so no need to pump and dump unless your engorged

There's been studies that show the amount in your breast milk after 1 drink is so minimal. They say if you can drive you can breastfeed. 1/2 a Smirnoff you would not need to wait.
