Have any of you ladies ever had a IUD ? If so how did you like it ?

I have the copper iud I haven't had an issue

I've had mirena and copper as well I like the copper one better

I have the mirena. I like it so far. I just got my first period after having it for a year and it was super light.

I'm so anti birth control for myself, but I have the mirena and it's okay, ish. I feel less hormonal than I was when I was on the pill.

Oh OK I haven't had my baby yet doing a lil research on birth control! Did it hurt when inserted!

I just got mine done like two weeks ago it doesn't hurt just could be a little uncomfortable it doesn't take more then five mins to get it done so it's quick thank god. I'd recommend taking some pain meds before going in cause you'll be cramping

Mirena has hormones and the copper one doesn't

I have the mirena and I bled for 8 months straight before they gave me a pill that stopped me from bleeding! I was bleeding everyday all day 24/7 and it was gross brown old blood! Now at like 11 months I'm officially off medicine but I still bleed brown quite often. We have sex but my fiancé is terrified to do any foreplay even touching me because he's afraid I'm going to be bleeding😑😑😑

Everyone reacts different. If you want an IUD but are worried about the hormones get the paraguard. So many women love it. I'm keeping my mirena though for the sake of my skin. Lol

@jackie22, I was and am! But I feel like it's pointless getting it removed because I want a method that I don't have to worry about taking everyday and we plan on having a baby next year so I want something can take out and get pregnant immediately
