You guys. My neighbors 3 year old was just wandering the streets. Hands full of toys, wearing dirty t shirt, underwear, and shoes, soaked in sweat. He kept running and hiding from a woman that was trying to help him, she said he came from several streets away. I got him to come to me by asking if I could look at his toys, and took him to his house. His grandma baby sits him, you can always hear her yelling at him. He had definitely been gone for a good while, at least an hour I'm sure. She had just then stuck her head out the door calling for him. When we told her where we found him she just grabbed his arm, started yelling "How'd you get out the back fence?! You're getting punished for this!" 😞
It's extremely sunny, hot, and humid today. A billion things could have happened to him.

@viviannecsoto I know! I'm so worried about him. The girl that was following him in the car was on the phone with 911 I think, I really hope they came by and checked on him.

@joanna.davis, @joanna.davis, yes, hopefully they did because, that matter needs to be resolved. Makes me so livid when children are abused or mistreated. I can't believe the grandmother got upset with him! Obviously she was not pasting any attention to him & like you said is always yelling at him. Not okay. & poor baby was out & about for a long while & she didn't know? Um. If it was me I'd be upset with myself. That's so scary & to have the possibility of him being injured, heat stroke, kidnapped etc. you know? What is wrong with people now a days?

@viviannecsoto I don't really know how his father is with him, everytime I see them interact it seems fine. The father still lives with his parents, the grandma baby sits while he works, and I think the kid sees his mom every now and then. I know the dad can't afford to pay for proper childcare 😟
My husband said I should offer to have him come over and play with my kids some days, at least maybe give the grandma a break. Maybe she would be more attentive if she got some breaks, but idk.

Why was a dang 3 year old even outside without a damn adualt??? When my son is outside he does not leave my sight

@laciemarie exactly, even when my 6 year old plays in my fenced in backyard, I watch him through the big glass doors. I couldn't imagine leaving a 3 year old unsupervised, especially long enough for them to wander several blocks away, and then back again!
