Did anyone buy a big cot straight away for their new born or get something smaller first???

We bought a cot but aren't putting him in it straight away, we have a Moses basket for the first few months!

@olivia161 I was thinking the same the cot looks so big and I'm guessing the moses basket can fit next to my bed?

Yeah my boys Moses basket is on a stand but it's at the bottom of our bed, so we can both get to him easily depending who wakes x

It was my partners sister who bought it as a present so I'm not sure, it's a Clair De lune one and it's lovely but I'm not sure where it's from sorry hun!

They say a moses basket to use first due to baby feeling snug because they are used to being in a small tight space so it's comfortable for them xx

We bought a cot/cotbed for our first, he wouldn't sleep in it till he was about 6months. We ended up using the carry cot off out travel system in the cot until then, he liked to be cosy as he was only 6lb+1 when born.

My charlie is 2 months old and he sleeps fine in his big boys bed x
