My daughter is almost 8 months old. She's eating baby food now but still mostly breastfed. She never took a bottle. She's super clingy. I'm at the point where some days I think about how proud I am for sticking to breastfeeding for more than 6 months (which was what I had planned to do since pregnancy) , but I'm also exhausted because she's super clingy and I haven't had any time to myself since she was born. Any other mom's in a similar situation? It's been an emotional roller coaster for me. Sometimes I blame myself for not being more persistent with trying to pump and give her a bottle.

I hate my generation sometimes ? Today was my nieces baby shower, which went great. She got so much which amazing since she's been working 2 jobs trying to save up for the unpaid leave she'll have to take from work. Anyways I was talking to one of the ladies there since my son and her daughter were playing together. I asked her what her daughters name was, she said it was Layla. I told her that's a really pretty name and asked her if she was a Clapton fan and if she was named after the song. This girl had no idea who Eric Clapton is. ? ♀ One of the most iconic songs, and she had no idea. I hate my generation. ?

I just can’t win tonight! Was going to make Eliana a bottle and dropped the cereal bent down to pick it up forgetting I had an open bottle with formula in it and the bottle spilled all in my carpet 🤦🏻 ♀ And before anyone adds any smart comments... yes I put cereal in my almost 4 month olds bottles! No it’s not to make her “sleep longer” but to help with her reflux! If you don’t like it just keep scrolling 🤷🏻 ♀
