Do you have to have a certain number of kids or be a certain age to have you tubes tied?

Some doctors won't do it unless you have at least 2.

There's no law. It just depends the doctor. Most won't do it unless the patient is a certain age though. My doctor, for example, won't do it if you're under 30.

@_maraplus4 see I am 21 and I have two kids and the hospital told me after I gave birth they didn't know how old or how many kids I would have to have before it was done

I think its a little of both. And its whichever comes first. I can't remember the numbers tho. They've also suggest it after a number of miscarriages
