Its not recommended for pregnant women. If youre unsure you can always look at the insert (side effects) for the vaccine.

You should get the TDAP shot and anyone who will be around baby regularly to protect your baby against whooping cough. It's very dangerous for little babies they can't get the shot. I got mine at the hospital after she was born

I'm unsure about a lot of the vaccines that they want to be pumped into me and my baby and I never thought I'd be like that! But a lot of it is so new and haven't really had time to see the long term effects!

@andrea1993, I am big on the shot. Supposedly the one you get while pregnant is different than what is given to your family members. For instance, when I had my first (he's 4 now), all my family got there's and it was still good for my newest baby (5 years). I on the other hand, had to get another one. I had whooping cough in adulthood and it was horrible, there are lots of kiddos that get it and it could be fatal. However, with all that being said, I am a "go with your mama instinct" type mom! If you feel that you should get it, do it! If you feel like you shouldn't, don't! You can always get vaccinated after your little one is born, it just takes I think they said, 7 days to kick in! PS, I am super against the flu vaccine! I refused it with my first, and only got it with my 2nd, bc I knew he was going to be super susceptible to things like that. I figured it may be worth it for his sake and took the risk....

I didn't get any shots while pregnant. I have all my vaccines from 0-18 but since then I don't because that's just my choice. Honestly I would just ask to look at their paper work on it and see what side effects and also research a little to see the good and bad of it before finally deciding
