Cradle cap is excessive oil build up, not dry scalp, any other oils just mask it and make it look like its gone, use a soft bristle tooth brush with regulator head and shoulders twice a week and it'll be gone, that's what my pediatrician said and it worked miracles she had it really bad and now her little scalp is perfect, to each their own but adding oil is just going to make it worse momma, hope it helps!
My pediatrician recommended the coconut oil. She suggested to pass a comb to take out the dry scalp and after half hour pass a warm washrag. It is working great for our little one.
My sister In law did her her son and daughter . She said it worked perfectly. Was all out within a week or less. My daughter had it really bad and we had this goats milk bath stuff for cradle cap .( got it at my shower) but it worked pretty good too. For this baby I'm going to have if it's anything like my daughters I'll be doing coconut oil for sure.
