I'm so excited. I was going to buy my kids a guinea pig next week. My friend has one and she's going on vacation for one month as of Monday. Her sister in law agreed to watch the guinea pig despite the fact that she's not fond of the animal. So now that my vacation is canceled, I offered to guinea sit. Now my kids can learn how to be responsible for one before we buy it.

They are pretty easy to manage . We have had our for 3 years going on 4 now. They are talkers when happy omg. But we let ours out to roam around the living on a big blanket . Just have to be mindful on little droppings. But she loves being out of the cage .

@krenee1120 I've heard great things. We already have the starter kit with the home, bedding, food etc.

Perfect sounds like your ready . A bedding recommendation for you would be the cedar bedding . It's smells amazing and locks in the order of a pets urine . I did pine and it was okay. But the paper bedding that comes in different colors ect was the absolute worst ! @arivera64,

@krenee1120 yeah i hate that paper stuff. We've had hamsters before so I'm a little familiar with small animals. I'm also going to use a puppy pad under the bedding to make cleanup easier
