So I wanted to post on facebook, that we found out baby is a girl yesterday. Still trying to give my husband's mom a chance to call him and show a tiny bit of interest and find out first hand instead of finding out through facebook. Our friends are getting restless because they knew we had the appointment but haven't told them any thing yet. What would you guys do in this situation??

@mrs.collins no she and my husband have a some what strained relationship, and I msged her telling her, Wednesday that we had the appointment on Friday and what the best time to get in touch with her son would be. She agreed that she needs to put forth the effort and be the first to make contact. I gave her his phone number and told her that neither of us have hers. She didn't even offer to give me her number, said she would call him.

Will she not answer your calls . I'd wait another day maybe after trying to contact her . If not you tried and oh well. Sucks to have to hold in your excitement. Others are happy for you so share it with them.
I change my mind on a day. I'd wait until this evening.

My husband's sister has no interest in being my babies aunt, so we don't even update her.
You don't need someone like that in your little girls life.

@jdgregg I would let people know even if she finds out. Lol if she shows no interest than don't let other people suffer from it. Others care apparently, so in a nice way.....fuck her.
