shaking a baby?!

So this girl I know had a baby girl a few months before me. The baby is 8-9 months. Well she was over at my bff house and the baby was crying and she went into the room and shook her and yelled at her to go to sleep!!! My bff started yelling at her to take care of her child. So my mother in law came over today completely unannounced and when I went to get the door she handed me my daughter's sippy cup that I accidentally left over at her house on Sunday. Her house is 30 minutes from mine so that's quite a drive just to give me back a sippy cup when my daughter has a lot of those but anyway, I told her she could step inside because she was just talking to me and it was really hot outside so she stepped in the house and ...

So fucking pissed. My niece drew all over my daughters wall in her playroom. I tell my sister about it and she had the nerve to fucking laugh. If that were my daughter and she did that to her house I'd be paying for new painted walls!! then had the nerve to say "she's only two". (She's allowed to do that at their house) well here she got her ass busted and put in time out until her mother gets here. Now I have to figure out how get this crayon off the damn walls with out them being ruined. fml...

is it wrong to be frustrated that my daughter acts like she can't do certain things with out my help. she plays dumb a lot and I wish I could be like no girl show what you know. she acts like she can't trace or match shapes so shes ask for "mommy finger" to help her so I barely hold her hand and she magically can do it but if I dont hold her hand she just scribbles and acts like she doesnt know
