@prit that's what I keep hearing, but my husband still makes me feel guilty on occasion. Not sure if he means to. He can't budget worth a flip tho and that would make things so much easier. I find it hard to confront him about it tho, cus last husband left cuz I was too controlling.

@cbrebelkat same, I've calculated expenses and with me working I would have much left over with daycare+insurance+car expense .....dont see where that's worth it :/

@alysonxo that's very true it's a team effort and our babies need us but it's weird when it's the first time ever not working and depending on someone else for expenses.

@typicalwifegirl right, like I love being the "mom" but I don't get to sleep in on the weekends and if we go out to eat guess who's changing those diapers and thinking about this little being ahead of time 🙋 .....and now she even prefers when I feed her, she must love the way she cuddles up in my arms or something ....so even on weekends my jobs is a no stop

"Want a great opportunity to work from home giving care to a child and keeping their living space clean for no pay or benefits?" 😂 dammit people, most of you won't even consider part time jobs that pay less than $10 an hour. How can you not be impressed with someone who works 168 hours a week for free because they WANT to?

@prit, I know exactly how you feel. It sucks. But if we're able to stay home then why not? I'm still weird about it because I solely depend on my boyfriend and I don't want to. But I gave him a daughter and I take care of her all day everyday. It's a team effort, I need to start realizing that. Idk why it's so weird but we can't let it bother us. Other people can suck it 😂 They don't know what we deal with 24/7!

@karkster420 it truly is, it's weird to admit but I've always pictures myself being the mom that can be there for the kids at all time ....i never really had any corporate life interest but clearly my life choices aren't as "hustle" like to people

@prit haha no need to apologize. If anyone asks me what I do for a job I just say I'm a stay at home mom and they usually just say "oh that's cool!" Or "good for you". Being a mom is seriously the best!

@karkster420 I'm liking / loving this new chapter of my life just feel everywhere I go i asked if I'm working, or my mom keeps insinuating this job like a receptionist to a hair salon for example and in my head I'm like yes let me go get a whatever job that will pay me whatever so then I pay a daycare $800 a month if not more here in Miami, plus car insurance and car payments because by then I would need my own car since with my husband my are lowering our expenses by using 1 car at the moment. .....sorry this turned into a full vent lol.

I used to. I'd meet someone new, "what does your husband do? And what do you do?"

Staying home with a baby all day seemed like such a silly answer to me. But then I just started changing the way I answered. Instead of "I'm a stay-at-home mom", I started telling them what I do all day. 😂 people seem to be a lot more impressed after they hear what being a STAHM requires of you.

Not at all. I'm thrilled about the fact my husband is able to provide for our family so I can stay home with my kids. Being a mom is a fulltime job (that's why you have to pay day cares to watch kids lol) I love being a stay at home mom!
