Anyone know the process of how to get a pump from the insurance company? We have medical mutual..
@blessedmommy01, it depends on your insurance company so you should call and ask them
@blessedmommy01 You can contact them now and they will collect your insurance info to find out how soon you can have one. Then they will get your ob info and get the order for a pump and keep you updated via email. They will call when its time to choose
@twinpeanut, I'm 20 weeks tomorrow when should i start the process? And how long do they give with it?
@blessedmommy01 ive had mine since my 2nd trimester back in april. It shipped fast and they gave me lots of education on the pumps available through insurance. I found them on pintrest

@twinpeanut, I seen that company through Facebook advertisement I was wondering about them. How long did it take to get or have you gotten it yet?
I contacted aeroflow. They got the order from my doctor and got approved through my insurance then they called me to pick which pump i wanted. It was easy
I contacted the Target breast pump program, and told them my insurance, and got a prescription from my doctor, and they told me what kind of pump I would be covered for. It took about 4 days and I had to go to the Target store of my choice to pick up my pump. I got the Medela pump in style starter pump from them. Haven't been able too use it yet, but I've been buying all the accessories they sell!
