Call me old fashioned but I would not be dying my 10 year old daughter's hair, next thing you know…

I'm going to be old fashioned. I grew up without a phone and computer and a personal tv in my room. Kids are too spoiled nowadays, its ridiculous.

My aunt lets my boy cousin dye his hair I don't get it he is in middle school

@pinkxoxo right lol I hear you. She's a little girl and needs to still act and be like one. Kids grow up too fast and act spoiled, or dont mature at all and act spoiled. Its all how you raise your child to think.

I didn't get to dye my hair until I was about 14. During the summer my parents would get me the colored hair spray though, they sell it at Party City and places that sell costume makeup. That way I could have pink hair or glitter and then it would wash out in the shower lol. I don't see a problem with letting your children do things with their appearance or use technology as long as it's only to a certain extent.

There was a little boy in my daughters preschool class that had both ears pierced with double holes and I could not make that up if I tried. I was shocked when I saw it.

Oh trust me I believe you, my So's niece was 8 with her two ear holes on each ear that's ridiculous I won't allow it I'm sorry @rebeccca3009

@pinkxoxo, neither would I. My two older girls both have their ears pierced and my oldest asked for a second hole and I told her no she had to wait till she was a little bit older.

Hell im 20 and I still wouldn't. I mean maybe the hair changing chalk or spray in washable stuff. But only for like special occasions. Like Halloween or maybe Fourth of July. Stuff like that. Or during the summer when I was about 9-10 my mom would spray lemon juice in my hair on the ends and it lighted it so I thought that was pretty cool.

@november.01, this!!! Any time I'd go to the nail salon little girls would be in there. I would be so shocked.

@rebeccca3009, I had my ears pierced when I was a baby. But I was NOT allowed to get anything else until I was like 16-17 and even then it was just the 2nd hole and nothing else.
