Oak seriously loves remotes more than any of his own toys, and he always looks so proud in the pictures I have of him with a remote 😭 it melts my heart 🖤 some of the most recent items/activities of importance to this kiddo of mine that amuse me just as much, in no particular order:
1. Remotes, as stated above (this category also includes land line phones... even cooler because they BEEP 😮)
2. My phone (he's not sure why, but figures if mama always wants it then it must be good shit)
3. Pressing the power button on the DVR, solely because it has a shiny blue light and probably because I always move him away from it. must have the forbidden fruit sort of situation 😝
4. Anything that looks like it has the potential to be dangerous or messy (think tall potted plants and pulling anything and everything off the coffee table at grandmas house)
5. Food. You give it to him, he'll eat it. This kid has literally never spit out anything he's tried. Hope it stays that way and he's always willing to try new things! Especially because I'm a total creature of habit, I mean I've gotten the same sub from subway since I was in middle school sooo he isn't getting this awesome trait from me 🤣
6. One of my all time favorites though, he points at something, says "dat??" then looks at me inquisitively like he wants to hear my thoughts on the object he's pointing at. He does this with most objects within his line of vision. I am obsessed.
So I realize a lot, if not all of these things are little antics that most kids do... but, like it's cute when you hear your friend talking about how her toddler walked around the table by herself while holding on, but when you experience it yourself with your own child it's legitimately like seeing the most magnificent masterpiece and I think it's hilarious and adorable. Oakley will be 13 months next week, do you guys have kiddos around his age that have random little things they do that just melt your soul ?? This is such a cute age ☺️
(He also waves hello and goodbye now... and I think it is the most amazing thing I've ever seen. Adults can wave at people day erryday and I nor anyone is phased. But Oakley waving, it is the coolest most
important wave ever. Every time.)
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
???
My child is NOT disgusting just because he has HFMD. I feel beyond awful that he even has it, but now I feel like facking shat since my family makes it seems like he's so disgusting. I'm just gonna lay in bed and cry ??
Did you know?
Because I love learning the most random/interesting things, let's all share something that others may not know.

So going off of my poll about using correct body terms I need some 2nd opinions. I feel like I am so paranoid about this. So my sil has been with my brother for 12 years now. Our families are really close. We clean for her mom and step dad every two weeks and house sit from time to time. Her mom absolutely adores my dd so we would bring her with us. I started noticing that her stepdad would always want to bring her in another room. I didn't think anything beca...
