I am so happy about this new app @peanut. I wanted to share it with you all because I'm excited to maybe meet some of you there. Before I had Remy I was working as a full time nurse. I went on maternity leave and was thrown into this new world of full blown Motherhood. I'm sure many of you can relate! I was so in love with my new baby but I was also lonely. I remember I would spend time just walking around Target just to be in the presence of other Moms. Finding my people took me a while, but it made all the difference to my happiness. It's amazing when you can find another Mom who understand what you're going through, who can watch your baby for 5 mins so you can go pee alone, or simply just give you a hug. We live in a culture where we can easily build fences and seclude ourselves into our home (guilty of this 🙋🏼). Raising a child really does take a tribe. The app is basically the tinder for Moms. It only take a few minutes to join. I just joined! If you're in Carlsbad, let's be friends! Hop on and make a play date. You don't have to this Mothering thing alone Mama! 👊🏼
