Advice needed. I was offered a full time job over the phone. I accepted, but told the man that I would be on vacation from the 2nd to the 15th of July. I bought the plane tickets months ago and can't just cancel the vacation. This verbal offer was given to me 4 days ago. After I told him about my vacation he told me another employee was going to be gone at the same time and he was going to look into a few things and call me right back. Still have not heard anything from him. Should I just assume that he doesn't want to hire me anymore and move on or should I call him back to see what's going on???

I would all. I had a vacation planned and paid for and I was upfront with s job offer I had and I started the week after I got back.

I would call back and ask what's going on! that happened with me on this job he offered me a job verbal and I wasn't going on vacation but had to figure out daycare and everything but he just got busy and it slipped his mind so I called and I still got the job. no harm done just calling and asking and that way you don't keep wondering about it good luck to you
I would call back, no harm in doing it, and it eases your mind as to whether u still have the job or not.
