Did any of you ladies take breast feeding classes or was the info given at the hospital after birth enough? I really wanna get informed and not threw just reading, I need it to be hands on but the classes cost and I don't have the money.... Suggestions??!!

I have WIC and there's a lactation consultant there that could possibly help point you in a good direction

Wic actually does free breastfeeding classes, I've heard of hospitals doing them as well.

the only thing the nurses told me was how to get baby to latch and how to remove nipple...im still breastfeeding my 1 year old. i went on gerber.com i think and scheduled a telephone meeting with a lactation specialist also I called the hospital a few days later and also spoke to a lactation specialist. They were both very helpful and answered all my questions. Also both were free!
