So the makena just came in.. im happy nd nervous, tomorrow going to get my first does.. any mothers currently getting the weekly shots or have gotten them before. What were the out come nd some side effects. Just curious nd want to know some info to keep in mind. Thank you

I didn't have to do the shots, I did have to take progesterone pills from 6 weeks until 12 weeks.

I didn't have any side effects at all. Yes ma'am they have oral pills and pills that are suppository.

@kendraharlee should have asked about other options on it cause as many piercings I have and few tattoos I dont like needles lol.. how was the out come?

@boymom.garcia.89 I'm 31 weeks now. Completely healthy baby and pregnancy. I preferred the oral pills honestly. I couldn't imagine shots. I brought up that my sister and mom always had low progesterone so they did lab work and found that mine was low as well. The pill helped exponentially
