I'm breastfeeding my baby right now and I don't ever really pump so I'm not sure exactly how much she's eating. My husband and I are going to a wedding in the beginning of July we'll only be gone I'm assuming like 5 hours at the most while my MIL watches our kids. I want to send at least 3 feedings worth of milk for the baby just in case but I wonder how many ounces is one feeding for her. She'll be about 2 months then. Does 4 ounces sound about right? So I would send three, four ounce bottles?

No. 4 to 5 ounces is what a breastfed baby would drink around 9 to 12 months. You should send 1.5 to 2oz of milk per feeding. Whoever feeds the baby needs to pace feed, mimicking breast flow.

@beebaby O I thought at 9-12 months they would be at 8 ounces but I didn't breastfeed my other babies like that just formula so idk if they're different amount wise

Ok thanks @beebaby and @cubanese so probably just 8oz should be enough to last her the 5 hours? No need for 12? Is what I'm understanding... I want to make sure she has enough though ya know I mean I don't want to leave MIL with a baby she can't feed cause that would suck.
