Hi I am 6 weeks pregnant. I started having brown spotting a few days ago and last night I start bleeding tremendously. So heavy that it was gushing out getting all over everything and had severe cramps. The blood is bright red with clots, similar to a heavy period but way worse. I went to the ER thinking I was having a miscarriage and they did an ultrasound and said my baby is still there and has a heartbeat. I don't understand. Why am I bleeding and cramping so much?! Is it possible this could be an early miscarriage?! Can it be something else that an ultrasound can't see? I'm losing hope and all I can do is cry. Please if anyone has been through this please help me. I really need someone to talk to or someone to tell me what could be happening

It's normal. Don't fret. I haven't had it happen but my coworker who's a week behind me had that happen and her doctors said it was a piece of her placenta shedding off.

I'm bleeding today and I am 6 weeks. I have been crying all day. Should I go to emergency room? I bled with my last one but I was 13 weeks and it was placenta stuff. Maybe there is hope I pray for you too!

I unfortunately found out yesterday that mine was a miscarriage. But I'm hoping that it's not the same for you. You should definitely go to the ER to get it checked out. The doctors (before they saw it was a miscarriage) said bleeding heavily can be tons of other things too so just hold onto hope ❤️ I pray you get some good news!!! Also is your blood bright red? Heavier than a period?

Yeah definitely go get checked just to be sure! Thank you. It's very very hard because this was my first pregnancy and I really was so excited about this child so I have been devastated but I'm praying one day I'll get my rainbow baby :) good luck to you and I'm praying you'll get great news!!
