I went to physical therapy after about a year of dealing with a bad back after my first... it was AMAZING! After just doing the little exercises they gave me to fix my back my mid section started really slimming down! And my back healed, and I had SO much more energy to actually want to work out! If your back is messed up after child birth, typically your insurance will cover therapy

Cardio works, invest in a good waist trainer/girdle does wonders! There are standing an exercises you can do too
