Oh heck naw my hubby makes sure our kids have everything they need first before he treats himself

@vannahjam14 @mami1234 the problem is he doesn't think a highchair is a "need", haha. I usually feed Finn when he's in his walker which works fine, except it leads to him walking all over the place while eating leaving a trail of crumbs and food. So really a highchair would be more convenient for me, so I wouldn't have to sweep and mop so many times a day 😥

Yes!! Everytime we go somewhere or even grocery shopping, he always says "this is adding up. I'm not spending more than x amount" but then he goes and blows $500 that we don't have on a car or drops $200 on tools. Yet when I say we need to get the baby stuff, his reply "well I don't think we can get that right now". 🙄🙄🙄

@starwars-mom with my husband it's more that he doesn't realize all of the stupid little things really add up. He'll fuss at me to not spend on money on certain things that we actually need and use, like fabric softener for instance, but the other day he spent $40 on some cleaning product that a random sales woman came to our door to try to sell. And he said he bought it just so she would go away 😐

@joanna.davis, I would definitely try to save up five dollars or $10 until it added upbecause it is a need .and it helps a lot. It's his responsibility their his kids also especially if he is the main provider for your family .

How old is your son?

@bugs039 I ended up just ignoring him and getting the highchair any way, haha. He just doesn't really have a good understand of what's important.
