I had mine removed it made me so sick and bitchy and I did nothing but bleed I only kept it in for three months

@mommysbabies, that's crazy like they said irregular bleeding here and there . This is not here and there !! Now granted I started just 2 days after my c-section instead of waiting 6 weeks . But damn my baby will be 5 months in a few days and I've only not bled for 2 weeks . This shit is really annoying

when I had it I kept it for the three years and the entire three years I would get my "period" for three weeks then not bleed for three months

I've had it since January and it works wonders. I haven't had a period, mood swings, weight gain. Very very light spotting (only once) for about 3 days within these past 6/7 months. I thought with any birth control you had to wait until the 6 weeks for your body to heal but I'm not 100% sure. This is my first BC.

I've been on it since January as well and all I've been doing is bleeding with only 2 weeks without . They said they make you wait 6 weeks because they want your body to get a chance to get back to normal after birth . But if you want to start before hand there's no harm . So when the surgeon came in 2 days after my c-section to check on my incision they asked me if I wanted to get it or wait the 6 weeks . So I said since I'm already here minus well do it 😑everybody body is different so I'm trying be patient with this bleeding thing . But my friend started it 6 weeks after she gave birth and her too bleed a lot and it's been 5 months for her as well . She get 2 periods a month

My doctor keep saying because I just had a baby 5 months ago today makes a difference for how it reacts in my body versus someone who is just getting on it that haven't just had a baby . She said it'll take at least 6 months to work with my body as far as regulating the bleeding . So I'm trying to be patient and I'll wait till next month but if I'm still bleeding on a regular by then idk how much longer I can do this

Lol well are babies are the same age so maybe that's why . At least now I know who to come too with certain stuff considering we both have girls and there the same age lol
