We had to take Brendon to a&e on Wednesday because he was screaming uncontrollably and It was different to usual, he cries a lot even when we've done everything like feeding, changing, making sure hes an okay temprature etc... He doesn't burp very well and his poos are a bit confusing, for a while he was only having 1 every 2/3 days so we changed his formula to the aptamil comfort, he's now going once everyday but it's rather runny. The doctor has said it could be colic and has prescribed us infacol to see if it'll help him. Has anyone ever used this before and if you have did it make any kind of difference to your little ones??

aw poor baby. My baby doesn't poo every day, he poos every 24 hours and cries a lot when pooing, I have to massage his belly. He has a lot of gas and takes ages to burp. Quite often he won't burp. Do you think he could have a problem too? @rachmyers95

@firsttimemummy86 Thats what it was like for brendon to start off with and it got worse as he got a bit older. I'd ask your health visitor about It, we were gonna speak to ours at Brendons next appointment but his crying was just so bad we couldn't wait

Mine was the same so I gave him infacol and a couple of oz of sterile water and had him in the colic hold for a long time to get everything up and we changed to comfort too now he's absolutely brilliant xx

Yeah should be fine that's how old mine was about 4 weeks when he was like that it did him no harm it just cleared him out cause he hadn't been pooing regular and he got all his wind up too xx

McKenzie had colic! He was on infacol before every feed until about 4 months when I weaned him!
Infacol was a life saver! Helped so so much! Xx

thanks @ells123. My mum did say to give him water but midwife said not to, I'll start him on a little tomorrow. Can you get infacol over the counter?

Liam had it really bad too but it as past now hun they say when there about 3/6 it should go :) x@rachmyers95
