I WOULD BE TOO, there is absolutely no evidence to support her theory! So why in the hell would you take that chance ???? Ugh stuff like that just pisses me off! I don't care if you want to smoke but when you are pregnant your putting more than just yourself at risk !

@firsttimemom1, I know she'll do it throughout her whole pregnancy because she can't go without it. correct me if I'm wrong but they can test the baby after birth right? And I feel that after she has the baby she'll just hand it off to someone else and go smoke or do whatever she does.

@sabreycastro1996, you're exactly right. they can test the baby. plus she'll go thru blood draws & they may find THC in her early. oh wow, if she really cared about her child (idk if she says she does) but she'll go cold turkey so she won't lose her child.

i used to be a legit pothead and i tried quitting a few times throughout the years and never did but as soon as i found out i was pregnant i never picked weed up again. i don't know how some just don't care.. i have severe migraines and my ob keeps telling me narcotics will help me but i refuse to take it even once while pregnant. some just aren't fit to be moms.

@ashleytitter, I used to smoke all the time as well, but as soon as I found out I was pregnant I stopped, I also stopped taking my depression and anxiety medication cold turkey, and I went through with draws, but I'm so glad I did.

In most states if they find THC in her system she will immediately loose her child if it's born with it in its system, maybe just tell her that and say, if you don't want to loose your baby you might want to quit

@amandahenry546, I'll have to look up the states, we're in Kansas so I'm not exactly sure. It's not legal here so I'd assume they'd get involved.

I would think so, but really if she isn't prescribed it even if it is legal they would probably still take the baby. Prescription meds are legal buy if you dont have a prescription and it's in the baby's system they will take it. So she really needs to think about that.

That's just completely irresponsible. Smoking weed kills brain cells in grown adults. Why would you have a developing baby exposed? Lol if you're too addicted to a drug that you can't give it up when you find out you're pregnant you shouldn't have kids.
