So I worked at Walmart, and my husband works too. Well I recently quit, due to them ALWAYS pulling me away from family. I mean I asked for the weekends off, and the asshole shoot me down. Well I go grocery and needs shopping, and they hunt me down. So and so wants you back. I'm like look I couldn't juggle family and work.

(Insight: My son begged me everyday not to go to work, my baby cried when I walked out the door. My house stayed a messed, my husband tried during my shift to keep it clean and maintained, my CLEAN clothes piled up in a corner (finally got them all folded), dinner was mostly frozen food, had no time for the kids, and rarely made it to the gym.$

Well the assistant manager calls me, and even says I can work just 24/hrs with weekends off. My husband said that won't last long, he worked there years ago. Well I have picked up babysitting three kids, and that brings in some money. So im helping some how, even though my husband says I don't need too. He never says his money either, he always says ours. So yeah, there is no problem there. Anyways my husband and I agreed no, because he will be going for active training soon. So yeah. I mean I finally am folding the laundry out of the dryer, my house stays decent, my kids look like kids, and everyone's happy. Yes including me. I told my husband I don't know if it's a door from god, or the devil trying to tempt me with money! Anyways that's my rant.

Aw yeah when I was pregnant I worked at meijers and they were horrible to their employees . I had someone say you can go on your lunch break but you don't have to take the full 30 minutes. The customer I had heard her and looked at me and said aren't you pregnant why would she say that, I'm like because they don't care about employees. The only places I know that treat their cashiers and others right are Costco and sams club. You did the right thing though because it sounded like at home everything was looking crazy.

@nmc95, not only looking but going crazy. I was a stay at home mom for two years, and then started working. See I came home and he went, so I had the afternoon with the kids. I never saw my husband. Well I would try to do as much from 1-8 pm as I could, but I worked 4am to 1pm so it was soemthing. I mean 40 hours lined up weird. I had three laundry basket piled up in a corner, and it just kept getting bigger and bigger. They was clean, but not folded. The house stayed messy, because my husband couldn't do it like I could. This came from his mouth. Like now my house isn't perfect, but it looks like a house that a family of six lives in. Not a family of hoarders. Lol now he tried his hardest, but his OCD makes him spot clean until it's clean clean. Even tho I tried telling him the easy way, then spot clean. But of course OCD is no joke, so he tried. Killed me more was when my two youngest didn't want me too. Now when they all in school, oh yeah I'll work. But right now I can't, my family needs me. Lmao I said that in a super hero tone in my head. Hahaha.

@armyvet_mom_of_four, I worked a job that was Monday to Thursday working 345 pm until 215 am. And nothing got done at my house lol plus I was still breastfeeding at the time. I tell ya on my days off i would be too tired to even play with my son. Dishes piled up me clothes. I would never do something like that again
