If you have court papers for child support for supervision visition and the father dont ever visit…

For visitation, you have to file against the father. When filing there is a section where you write why your filing. Late to visitation, doesn't show, no contact, ext. For child support, you have to file differently. But pretty much same paper work. Call/or go to the court house and they will tell you what you need to do for each situation

When I went through this, the judge and my attorney basically told me that visitation is a "right" given to dad... he does not HAVE to take the child during his times of possession, it is just saying that he CAN . Are you wanting to MAKE him see the child? Are you concerned that if he doesn't that he won't have to pay child support? If that's the case, it doesn't matter if he sees the child or not, he is still required, by law, to pay the child support. I hope that helps! Custody cases are HORRIBLE. I do agree with the other ladies though, if you are going to try and enforce anything, try to have an attorney. They understand the law in places that I never could have!

Well here in Texas I was given supervised visiations with my son's father and he's still has to pay child medical and back pay support. But the attorney told if he doesn't show then your on your own. My sons father wanted to give up his rights But didnt make him.

Thank ya and of course he still pays child support but he hasnt seen or called or anything for his son and a few days before my son 2nd birthday he only messaged me to tell me he wants to sign over his rights @purpledpink @mrsmccormick @alecialopez @allyk.xmommy

This has been since my son is born but yet he can always spend time with his daughter and post about her and whatever i just feel bad for my son but was wondering if they could get in trouble for not seeing their kids

@mommyteam28, I don't think you can force them to see him, and quite frankly, his loss! From what my attorney said, even if my ex signed over rights, he would still be required to pay child support. (State of Texas law). He said the only way my ex could get out of child support if he wanted to, would be to have my husband now legally adopt him. Luckily my ex is a fairly decent dad. He just will try to take out the anger he has for me on my son sometimes.

Omg thats horrible and i dont care about him seeing my son i tried for a whole year now 2 years pass by and he wants to sign his right that's bs but i just got told that if i let him sign over his rights he doesnt pay child support which that money really helps me with my son like thats all i spend it on him especially right now that i dont work amd have another baby it really helps @purpledpink
