@diegosmommy0213, it's like morning sickness on steroids. It doesn't stop and makes you dehydrated to the point of needing ivs and medication because your body refuses to hold down anything. It's miserable and I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy

It's kind of like comparing a broken bone to a paper cut. They both suck and are injurys to your body but it's no where even close to the same

@redheadkay, my cousin had this she had to go to the dr n get iv for one whole day she was miserable n she had her son a month early

@diegosmommy0213, my daughter was a month early and I had to make several hospital trips to get ivs. I would alwaysbget 3 bags of saline because of how dehydrated I was even on 2-3 different anti nausea medications

@diegosmommy0213, it's the sacrifice I was willing to make for my daughter. And I'll do it again in a few years when we try for another baby

@diegosmommy0213, oh yeah. I'm friends with another HG mom who has a year in between her kids. She's such a super mom idk how she can do it

I did as well. It sucked. I barfed for 6 weeks straight before getting put on meds. Even then I still had moments where it didn't matter. I lost 20 lbs because of it. (Instead of gaining anything)

@mermaidmeshy, it's incredibly horrible. I lost s lot of weight too. I hated that ppl thought it was a good thing

@redheadkay I'm overweight, it wasn't the biggest deal in the world with me, but yeah, I was supposed to be gaining and my pants were shrinking!

I do have one funny story. We we're playing cards against humanity at home... I laughed so hard I had to go puke. I told them to keep playing, I was listening. I laughed so hard I made myself puke....
