Maybe a little too early. I didn't put my son into his toddler bed until he was 1 but you can buy an extra guard to put around it so he doesn't fall

@mommabear17 that's what I was thinking , but It's like super close to the ground, like to your ankles , and I was planning on getting extra railings on the part that it doesn't cover?

I personally would still be concerned. Especially being a mother of boys, my boys were climbers, even at a year and a half my oldest would always hurt himself trying to play around on his bed. I would try a pack and play but if you feel comfortable enough to give it a try you always could try it out and if it doesn't work save it for when you feel he is ready..

@mommabear17 yeah thats true. It's just he will NOT be in his crib or pack n play we have and it's so frustrating lol idk what else besides the floor! Hahah 😂

It may take a few nights of crying and it may be stressful but eventually he will just get the idea. My oldest HATED his crib, and it took a good 4-5 days for him to adjust. And once we switched him to a toddler bed he cried saying "that's my beddd" referring to his crib. Lol

Like I said it will be hard the first few nights but eventually it will get easier and he will adjust. But you have to stay consistent.
