What's everyone's views on double pushchairs? I'm wanting to get one as I don't drive and I'll have…

This is the one my mother in law is wanting to buy us and it states on the Phil & ted website that it's for babies and toddlers.. I'm also sceptical about keeping a baby in the bottom xx

@tremzini, I personally wouldn't get a tandem one as I don't like the fact off the baby being at the bottom. I have a double as I had a newborn and a 2 year old and he wouldn't walk everywhere kids get tired and they do there legs are smaller than ours. Tbf at least if you have a double and you go out if your little boy did want to go in the buggy at least he could xx

My son is three, so i know it's a bit of difference but I'm thinking of getting a buggy board to clip on pram so if he get tired he can hitch a ride. He hated being in the pram even at 2 so he's always walked on them little backpacks, but meant me carrying him when tired, can't be doing that with a baby too 😂

I think you'll have the same age gap as I do with my 2. Morgan was 2years2months when Max was born & even though he was walking he'd still get get tired if we were out for a long time. I'd recommend a tandem where you can take the seat off & use as a single as well. We didn't use ours as a double for long. Couple months maybe. Then we used a buggy board. If money's no object then there's a few which are very nice. If not I'd get a second hand one as their so expensive & we didn't use ours for long.

You can get different ones where either baby can go at the back or infront. Depends which you get.

My daughter is the same age ans can walk. I dont drive so we walk or get the bus alot. Theres no way id be without a double once baby arrives! Ive bought a hauck duo x
