Sounds like it's time for a momcation. Give him a taste of what it's like to be a full on parent for a few days.
I remember my mom packing a weekend back and dipping on my trippin-ass stepdad for a bit. When she came back, things would run considerably better...until, inevitably, he needed another reminder
