Nope I'm going on 38.weeks & didn't have any ((or noticed any)) until this past Saturday when laying down for bed I experienced my 1st intervals of them.
@kmarie1303 @arivera64 at least I'm not alone lol my mom said she didn't get them until the very end. I keep feeling my stomach to see if it has hardened the tell take sign of BH and it's always normal and soft
@lillyb I had tightening earlier in pregnancy but nothing that I could feel inside just to the touch of my belly was hardened.. but it's pretty hard majority of the time. && until Saturday I thought maybe I was having but just never noticed, but once i expierenced it Saturday there's no doubt I wouldn't feel that strange feeling be4 if it happened. .. lol
@kmarie1303 nope no tightening at all. I'll feel some small sort cramps here and there but nothing too uncomfortable and my stomach is nvr hard during them
Depending on the position of the baby, it can be hard to notice belly tightening. Sometimes the tightening isn't much. Very light cramps every so often is your uterus contracting. That's why many ppl describe contractions as bad period cramps. When you have your period, it's your uterus contracting to expell the old lining.
@arivera64 definetly feel the mild period cramps more fequently this last week &half which I figured were minor contractions. Nothing excruciating tho. But the BH I expiernced Saturday. It was all in my abdomen, & could feel it tightening &releasing in a timely manor with a burning kind of sensation.
@kmarie1303 yeah. More times than not, BH are not painful. Very mild. For those who have had more children like myself, BH can be noticed very early on amd can be more intense and cause pain because our uterus has experience.
@arivera64 thanks wondered what caused other women to feel them more than others. That makes sense, in my head I just went with the logic answer that every pregnancy is different 🤣

Everyone has them. Many ppl don't notice them though
