Who let's their baby cry themselves to sleep

I have never had to think about letting her do that because if I just hold and cuddle her to where she starts getting sleepy I will then put her in the crib and she drifts of and stays asleep all night. But now I don't think I could let her cry herself to sleep

It depends on how old. If they're newborn or just a few months old, I wouldn't. Some experts say to wait until they're 6months and up to ferberize. And even then, do it gradually. Let them cry for 10 minutes, then console. Then 30 minutes, etc. If it works for you and your baby, go for it. If not, try something else. :)

EXACTLY what @jpartida0907 said!! Do not let a baby cry themselves to sleep before 6-8m, they need their mama! Once you start transitioning to a crib around 6m and want to do the CIO method, check in on baby every 10-20-30 mins to remind them you are around. If they're still upset 30+ and new to the CIO method, pick them up and console them, feed them, rock etc. It's literally baby steps, the first few nights are the hardest but patience is key!

I think of it as a baby is crying for a reason, that's their way of communication.
