Good for you. You can't parent wrong. They just think you should parent how they parent but if you did that that would be wrong. If you have your 5 month old sleeping through the night your killing this mom thing!!! Don't let anyone mom shame you. You do what's right for you and your LO!!!

My son still sleeps in the same room as me but that's my preference, we all have our own preferences. How boring would it be if we all did everything the exact same way ugh. But we don't have a good video monitor so I'm not comfortable leaving him in there by himself yet. But you carried that baby and take care of it you can let it sleep wherever you see fit. You know what's best for your baby!

Can You Give Me Some Tips On How You Got Your Baby To Sleep In His Crib Through Out The Night And For An Early Bedtime

@layyy, we let him cry for max 10 minutes then we would go check on him. He would go to sleep after that. We got Oliver in a schedule were his last nap is around 3 or 4 so by 8 he is tired and ready to go to sleep. We always put him down when we knew he was tired which is him rubbing his eyes and putting his hand to his face. So his crying is just him trying to get comfortable and fall asleep. Once we got him in a good schedule he goes to bed 8 or 9 and wakes up around 8. You really just have to know your baby's cues and do what works best for your family. But that is what we did.
